This is a special only for a limited tme!!
Included is a cdrom with information and manuals which are close to this model. There was no manual for this model to be found, so I am including on the cdrom a number of other models which are very close in operation to this model. The Wheelwriter 1000 manual is very similar to this model (included). Please note that all the manuals and information manuals are in PDF format. Any PDF reader will work.
Uses 3 double-A batteries for data backup. No batteries are included.
This unit has been tested to work as it is supposed to.
The CONTROL key was missing. I have put a IBM keyboard key in the place of it , not long enough to fill the space, but works fine. Possibly this CONTROL key can be ordered from IBM or other source.
The erase or type-over ribbon is too old, and is not in good shape, needs replacement. Photo below.
The ink ribbon works, but should be replaced because of age.
Has some scratches and signs of wear on the surface of the unit.
Erase or type-over ribbon is defective due to age, flaky.
