200 400 watt 480 volt metal halide hi / high bays light
I am selling (20) lots of (10) of a Sparten Lighting 400 watt Metal Halide 480 volt only 16 inch Acrylic High Bay Fixture. These are used in Industrial Warehouses and Shop applications. I would recommend these for applications with a white ceiling due to the 20% uplight from the clear refractor. These fixtures put off white color light. These are typically used in applications of 16-25 foot. These come complete with a mounting hook and a used bulb. I am selling these at $30.00 each in lots of ten.
If you need help deciding what type lights are right for your application you can use the following basic guidelines:
1) A 400 watt high bay fixture with an aluminum or acrylic reflector is typically used when your mounting height is 16 foot or above.
2) A 1000 watt Metal Halide , 750 or 875 Pulse Start Metal Halide or 1000 Watt HPS High Bay Fixtures is typically used at 25-60 foot.
3) Lowbays are used when your mounting height is between 10 and 16 foot.
If you need a basic layout of your area use the formula listed below (Length x width) over (Fixture spacing squared)= Fixtures needed.
An average spacing for this fixture is 15 foot apart and 7 1/2 foot off the side wall. So just multiply the length times the width of your area and put that number over 225 and you will have a close ideal of the number of fixtures you will need for a 75 foot candle light level.
