Sand bin hopper silo granulated materials
Thank you for looking at our listing for a granulated materials hopper. It has been used to hold Black Beauty sand for all of its servicable life. It will hold 38 ton. This silo cost justifies quickly with bulk sand being 50 to 60% the cost of bagged sand.
Has a cone shaped bottom with slider valve. We usually have three 600 lb blast pots fed by it. The pots in the photos are for someone to visualize the silo's use and are not for sale at the present time. It has a three sided room at the base to house the blast equipment.
In addition to the slide valve at the bottom of the cone there is a side discharge port at 15 ft elevation. This would be good for filling large tonnage pots. There are two fill lines. One goes up the inside of the tank and the other 4 inch pipe size up the outside. Both have camlock ends. There is a manway about half way up on the side and another at the top. Both have sealed covers. There is a candy cane shaped vent on the top head.
This silo could use a coat of paint and it has corrosion in the sheet materials which make up the three walls. None of which is detrimental to its structural integrity.
* This item is for local pickup only. We will load it on your truck/trailer. I guestimate it to be about 5000 lbs. The vehicle must have a deck, not taller than 40 inches, so the legs, as extended will be below legal height. That will probably need a standard step deck trailer.
