Whatman Partisil-10 SAX HPLC Column
4.6mm (I.D.)x 250 mm (L) / 10 micron / -NR3+ / PN 4226-001
Unused, N.O.S. (new old stock; quality assurance test sheet states 1984). This column was received here sealed, with the entire shrinkwrap intact aside from a small split on one of the ends*. The wrap was removed and one of the sealing stickers was cut to inspect the column. This was to verify contents and quality of the product. We do this with most chromatography columns. This column is guaranteed unused and was opened only briefly, and in a clean area, for picture/inspection. It is being stored in a clean, dry area. Includes the quality control test data sheet as well as the instructions originally enclosed. Both ends of the column are still sealed in the thick, clear coating.
Both the shrink wrap and sealing stickers were unopened upon receipt, so the column is guaranteed to be unused. However, there are no warranties given as to the suitability of, or results from, this column with any specific procedure.
*On this end label, there is a small stain on the middle of the label (see the bottom right of the photo). However a couple of small areas of the label were pulled back, and this spot does not appear to even penetrate onto the styrofoam right below the sticker. The inner styrofoam is also unaffected.
Includes the quality control test data sheet, as well all other inserts originally enclosed. The column metal is not darkened as the photo suggests, this is just photo shadowing caused by the flash and white surroundings. Also, the yellowish color of the sealing plastic material on the column ends is very common on the Whatman columns sealed in this way (the material will usually be yellow to light amber).
Both column ends have WCS (Whatman Compression Screw) fittings. Also included in a sealed bag are two ferrules and two hex head bolt-type fittings, with a narrow hole in the middle.
