YOU GET TWO FOUR OUNCE TUBES of Food Grade Lubricant, used to lubricate the hopper seals, auger shafts, auger shaft bushings and seals and O-rings on the CDS faucet. Every time you remove the hoppers for cleaning you need to use this lubricant where the large clear silicone seal and hopper meet, between the clear silicone nose bushing and auger shaft, and the black rubber o-rings on the CDS faucet (remember to never lubricate the faucet on the Ultra machines).
This lubricant is mineral-oil based, and is safe for humans to consume. Never use any other type of lubricants on any part of the machine that comes in to contact with your FOOD product. This means use this lubricant everywhere on your CDS or Ultra machine where lubrication is needed except for the auger motor shaft and auger shaft connection behind the hoppers (this shaft-to-shaft connection does not come into contact with the product and requires a special lubricant called Krytox).
This lubricant can be used on all food machines (ice cream, milk shake, slurpee, dairy, restaurant, slicers, grinders, etc.) - it is NSF H-1 Registered and meets USDA guidelines.
