Astatic L-1 Microphone Long Cable, the microphone looks nicely made and has a clip for a 'lapel'. It has a metal housing, a sturdy wire grille, and the cable looks quite long, possibly 40 feet or more. Tests ok (using a small amplifier and clip leads).
The microphone head is about 1 1/2" in diameter and 1/2" thick. If you account for the puffy metal grille on both sides the thickness is about 3/4". Measurements were done by eye with a tape measure and are good to around 1/16" to 1/8". Keep in mind there is a clip that sticks out on one side, which increases the diameter there.
