The Newport B-2 Base measures 2" X 3" and has slotted mounting bores for positioning, as well as 3 counterbored holes for flush mounting of Post Holders and other mounts. It is made of Black Anodized aluminum and is solidly made for sturdy mounting of optical components. The slots allow easy adjustment to bring your optical experiments into alignment on your breadboard or optical table
