This is a new well built 8" to 9" solid heavy metal frame outside micrometer that looks identical to a Mitutoyo micrometer.
When you pick up this micrometer and feel the weight of the unit and how smooth the spindle is you will definitely agree that it is worth the money. The frame on this micrometer does not flex like the cheap imports that are in the same price range these are in. We sell a lot of this style. They are available in individual micrometers in 1" increments from 0-12" range.
