Using Probridge 3 POS, multiple POS units can be connected to a daisy-chained RS485 network of PB3s, with up to 3,000 feet (914.4 m) between nodes.
All set-up and configuration data is stored in nonvolatile memory, so settings are retained even when power is removed from the unit. An alarm can be sent to the recorder when a preloaded text string is seen. Five text strings can be input into the ProBridge 3.
