Maple syrup pan & preheater pan 48"x 24"
Stainless Steel Maple Syrup Flat pan and Preheater.
Custom built for the back yard syrup maker.
Update your old galvanized steel equipment or get into the hobby with new stainless steel at a reasonable price.
These pans will give you a lifetime of syrup making fun.
The pan has a 1/2" NPT drain port to drain off syrup.
The Preheater Pan is 24" x 12"x 6" with a 1/2" NPT drain port to allow sap to empty into main pan.
There are stops welded on the bottom so the preheater cannot fall off the main pan.
The preheater can also be used as a finishing pan when ready to bottle your syrup.
There is a bend inward at the top for strength and to avoid sharp edges.
Welds are guaranteed to be leak free. I will repair free any leaks in welds for the life of your pan. (some liquid must always be in pan when heating)
You can use any 1/2" male NPT ball valve or gate valve in the drain ports. Your local hardware store will carry these.
Please note location of drain fittings in pictures. They are 3" from corner of pans.
