Mitutoyo to RS-232 Computer Interface
This is a computer interface from Mitutoyo. It is model MUX-10 and the Code No. is 264-001. This device allows Mitutoyo Digimatic Indicators to communicate with a host PC over an RS-232 interface ( COM port ). It is used, but in good condition and guaranteed operational or your money back ( details below ).
Up to three indicators can be connected to the MUX-10. The indicator data is sent in Mitutoyo format over a cable with a 10-pin Mitutoyo connector. The MUX-10 converts the Mitutoyo data into an RS-232 data string that is sent to the host PC over a DB-25 connector. The RS-232 data is sent in MUX-10 format. An example of this format is as follows:
where 02 indicates the indicator number, the + specifies the sign of the data, the data, and a final carriage return. The data is sent at 1200 Baud.
I would rate the cosmetic condition of this interface as very good. There are very few blemishes on the case. All mechanicals and electronics work great. Please see the photos for the condition of the item.
