Lightweight (for a dog tag machine) at 35 pounds you can use it at home or take it to shows, flea markets and other events to sell custom made dog tags. Ideal for government agencies that require permanent marking tags for equipment etc.
Manually operated not electric. Corrections/changes are possible if a mistake is made. In my experience you can get up to 17 characters on 5 lines of all caps type. You can make about 30-35 tags in an hour with a little practice. I found it helpful to print out each line in advance so I could just follow along as I was making the tag.
In the photos some of the lube shows up orange to red and may appear like rust or discoloration. There isn't a speck of rust on the machine. It lives under a cover and is well lubed.
