Up for sale is a Spirent / Zarak Abacus Abacus1 SCG Subsystem with the following:
The S/T Circuit Generator (SCG) subsystem provides five 4-wire ISDN basic rate circuits at the S or T reference points. You can use the subsystem for call generation or for switching.
The subsystem comprises two printed circuit assemblies:
SCG: the front card, which has active electronics and plugs into the front of the shelf.
BCI: the rear card, which has connectors and jumpers and plugs into the rear of the shelf and provides the physical means of connection to your system under test.
You can purchase the SCG subsystem as a call generator or as a switch. If you purchase the SCG subsystem as a call generator, you can add the firmware option that will enable the subsystem to also function as a telephone exchange switch. Similarly, you can purchase the SCG subsystem as a switch and add the firmware option to enable call generation.
