Nichiryo Oxford Benchmate Adjustable Pipette
Unused, in the original box with instructions and calibration certificate, a manual display Nichiryo Oxford BenchMate pipette. This is pipette is highly resistant to chemicals and has a slender design to reduce operator fatigue. The barrel is designed to eliminate dead air and there is a convenient volume-locking lever next to the dispensing button. The unit is also totally autoclavable (121 C, 20min.) and has PTFE piston sealing to allow long periods of operation while maintaining accuracy and reproducibility. And of course, the manufacturer is one of the world's premier pipette makers.
The Sigma label and catalog state an adjustability range of 0.2 - 2.0 uL, however the pipette body is labeled as 0.1 - 2.0 uL. This simply appears to be a data entry error from Sigma , as this Oxford catalog number (8885500895) is for a 0.1-2.0 uL model. Also, the serial no. engraved on the pipette matches that on the calibration certificate.
