This is a great running, super clean 1946 John Deere BO Lindeman and here is a video of it just shot last week:

This came years ago from a orchard farm in the Yakima, WA area where a lot of the Lindeman s went to all the Orchard s located on the hilly, rolling ground there. Had been there for 50+ years until it got moved to Oregon about 6 years ago where its been used and continued to be very well maintained and serviced.
Hand starts very easy and motor runs great with no issues. The oil pressure is excellent and the oil pressure picture above showing it on high was taken with motor cold last week with temperature at 55 degrees outside. All gauges work. Clutches are real good too.
On the undercarriage we aren't the best of experts but pins don t feel that bad. 10% wear we guess so not much at all. Sprockets in real good shape. Rollers look good too and 90% undercarriage left is our best guess or 80% at least. Sheet metal is all real nice and Hood is Perfect. Shutters are working too.
The Lindeman side rock guards /dust covers are there as shown in the one picture off the Crawler. One corner ear small piece is broke off it but I'm sure repairable and both covers are in good shape. Though the one historical picture above from a John Deere collector book shows the Lindeman name painted yellow these guards actually left the factory all green including the Lindeman letters. This BO Lindeman has all complete the rear PTO, Drawbar and the front Chain Loop as you can see in the photos too.
Tractor can be picked or looked at just southwest of friendly Portland, OR.

BO Lindeman History: BO Lindeman Crawler Tractors were first produced in 1933. It was a John Deere Model BO tractor which was sent without wheels to the Lindeman Company of Yakima, Washington, where the tractor was fitted with tracks. The engine was a horizontal two cylinder petrol/kerosene unit, power output was 11.8 h.p. at the draw-bar and 16 h.p. at the pulley. Serial numbers began with 332901. These BO tractors share the BR number series, as the basic tractor is very similar.
The BO Lindeman was made for specialty markets including steep hillside duty in western orchards. Some were equipped with dozer blades too. John Deere Model BO Lindeman Crawler tractors were discontinued in 1947 when they were replaced by the John Deere Model MC. John Deere bought out the Lindeman Company in 1946.

The John Deere B: From the John Deere Collectors Guide - "Wheatland farmers had admitted the "A" but asked for a standard-tread version because they did not need adjustable wheels. Row-crop farmers admired features of the "A" but asked for a smaller tractor, more suited to their power needs. In 1935, John Deere answered with the "B". Literature of the day described it as "...two-thirds the size of the "A" in power and weight. It has all of the advanced John Deere General Purpose features- adjustable wheel tread, ample clearance, excellent vision, easy steering, convenient controls, individually controlled rear wheel brakes, comfortable seat, roomy platform and four forward speeds on the early models."
The B's had 4 Forwards/1 Reverse on the unstyled and styled B's up until 1940. After serial # 96000 then they had 6 Forwards/1 Reverse. "The B is somewhat in more demand than the larger Deere's (of this era) because of its smaller size and lower weight. This makes it easier to store and trailer. Thus a John Deere B will usually fetch more than a equivalent A and makes a great, handy and useful collector tractor."
