I have every reason to believe that this is a new motor- there is no evidence of it ever having been bolted down. It has been on a shelf in a large manufacturing facility, out of the box and has been marked to be used for a particular machine. It also has a slight amount of surface rust on the shaft. It is most likely new- I cannot verify that but it is fully guaranteed.
