Avanex A1998PLM 980nm Pump Laser, 978nm with FBG, 250mW (Refurbished).
TM 1998 PLM modules contain a high power MQW 980 nm laser chip.
The wavelength is locked at a precise value with a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) located in the
pigtail fi ber. They incorporate a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), a precision NTC thermistor,
and a monitoring photodiode. Pigtail can be either a standard single-mode fi ber (SMF) or a
polarization maintaining fi ber (PMF), enabling a very stable operation under all conditions.
Pump modules are available at different wavelengths in the 980 nm window.
