This listing is for 1 new valve in its original Flomatic box. Used in plumbing applications with submersible pumps in water wells. Foot Valves are a form of check valve, installed at the bottom of the pump suction line, inside the wet well which allows the water to travel in but prevents it from backing out to hold the water in the line to prevent having to re-prime the line. Foot valves are an inexpensive way to prime a single centrifugal pump. Since Foot Valves are continually submerged in the wet well and not readily accessible for inspection or repair, it is important to select a Foot Valve of high quality long wearing construction. Bronze body is cast from an unleaded alloy with threaded 1" NPT female connection. Features a NITRILE (Buna-N) seal, acetal poppet stainless steel spring and strainer. 250PSI Max. 180F Max Temp.
