ROKONET Dual Technology RK-100
The RK-100 was designed with state of the art electronic components to ensure reliable operation in a wide range of applications.
The RK-100 is a combination of passive Infra Red (IR) and Microwave (MW) technologies in a single package.
The IR responds to changes in ambient thermal radiation when an intruder crosses the protected area. The microwave transmits a train of bursts, receives the echos reflected from the intruder and analyses the change in frequency due to Doppler effect.
Alarm will be initiated if intrusion is verified by both technologies simultaneously. Because of this, the chance of flase alarm is much lower than in a single technology. This important advantage isused to considerably increase the sensitivity of each technoloyg. For this reason there is not longer a need for pulse count.
