Quality electronics solder, lead-free (tsc) 30G. reel

Ideal for the hobbyist or low-volume user: handy 30gm miniature reel (not a few loose coils!) of professional high-quality tin / silver / copper alloy (lead-free) solder wire. Melting point 217 deg. C, eutectic.
Wire diameter 0.7mm with flux core of A11 no-clean (but cleanable) flux.
This is quality solder from the foundries of MBO in Dijon, France. The metal is from first smelting and the flux core is even throughout the length.
Lead-free solder is now required for use on most new soldering applications - leaded can still be used to repair items that already has leaded solder in place. There are cheaper lead-free alloys (usually tin / copper) but these do not flow as well and the melting point is higher (227 C) which can cause thermal damage to sensitive components.
Other alloys, fluxes and wire diameters are available, as are other soldering-related products. If you have any queries at all about electronics soldering, please enquire! Check out the M.B.O. (Tools) Ltd. website.
