The hopper can accommodate 20 sticks of bar, tubing, etc., but can be specified in other sizes as well. The hydraulic lifter separates one bar and drops it to the servo controlled feeder. The servo controlled feeder uses sensors to accurately find the beginning of the bar and via an encoder feeds the bar to have a small end cut off. An automated drop feeder puts the bad cut (front and back end of the bar) off into a separate scrap bin to be recycled and puts the proper cut offs in the material bin. The servo feeder accurately feeds the bar ever time to within tenths of one thousandth. The bar once loaded is hydraulically clamped on three sides to securely hold the material during the sawing process. While the material is being cut the servo feeder is repositioning itself for the next feed. This is one incredible CNC automatic circular cold saw that can saw to extremely tight tolerances with a fantastic finish and doesn t require further steps of machining or facing.
