Tektronix RTM-506 Mainframe for parts
The RTM 506 rackmount mainframe is electrically identical to the TM506. Up to six single-width plug-in modules may be plugged into the RTM 506. It features handles on the front and a higher power fan to accommodate the higher ambient temperatures often found in enclosed racks and consoles. It has manually selectable taps on the power transformer which permit operation on 100 V, 110 V, 120 V, 200 V, 220 V, or 240 V 10%, 48 Hz to 66 Hz.
Each slot has 2 Power Transistors mounted on heatsinks that are used by some of the plug-ins.
The frame size is 19" x 5.3" x 18.9"deep
The frame weighs 32 lb and draws a maximum of 670 VA.
The RTM 506 cannot be used with 5000 series plug-ins.
