this listing is for one forestry package rear brushguard
it was custom fabricated for a 2009 Caterpillar 272C, severe duty, high quality (cost a small fortune new)
very heavy at around 400 lbs +
it mounts in minutes with no modifications to your skidsteer
2' x 2" steel box tube frame, heavy grate screening, the cat logo was cut from 3/4" plate with a plasma cutter
the top has two clip style anchors which slide over the top of the body/frame, the bottom sits on the solid bumper stock with two 1'-1/8" bolts through the existing anchor hook holes. the assembly is hinged at one side, and opens / closes. when open, the engine door of the cat can swing open without removing the brushguard.
this will save the back of your new machine, or use when needed only.
it not only serves as a brushguard, but also a bumper ( stiff arm support along the bottom center transfers pressure to cat frame), and also serves as a 400 lb counterweight.
this brushguard wil also fit Caterpillar 262C , 277C, 287C, 297C, and 299C ( always double check your application before purchase )
