This new restoration quality muffler fits John Deere A SN 477000 - 487999 (1939). This muffler is USA MADE - VERTICAL ROUND BODY, 3 BOLT CASTING, INLET ID: 2 9/16", SHELL LENGTH: 19", SHELL DIAMETER: 3 3/4", OUTLET OD: 2 1/4", OVERALL LENGTH: 25 3/8". The three bolt casting is an original 39 A casting with a new muffler built on it. All you need to do is paint it and install. This quality muffler is a replacement for John Deere part number AA1778R.
