Thomas and Betts Hand Crimping Tool w/Case
These ruggedly built tools are made from forged steel, and are well suited for both field and bench work. Their C-shaped heads, light weight, and compact size make it easy to use just about anywhere.
The tool, which operates from a 9,800 psi hydraulic pump, has an engineered, built-in intelligence. The tool will sense the connector barrel diameter and apply just the right amount of compression force. This eliminates virtually all air spaces and forms the connector and conductor strands into a solid mass resulting in a high quality, low Resistance connection. In addition, the tool clearly embosses T&B with each compression for positive verification that the correct tool was used.
The C -type yoke configuration and the large die spacing allows the tool to slip directly over the connector. This means added speed and convenience when installing 2-way connectors, especially in confined spaces.
