Nightingale K-400 Microscope Objective w/Focus Mount
This is a Nightingale K-400 Microscope Objective/Focus Mount. This item is used, with some cosmetic scuffs & scratches and signs of normal use, but is in overall good condition. The optics for the 16X setting are missing, but all of the other objectives are intact and free of chips or cracks. The focus mount and knobs function normally. One of the plastic caps is missing on the focus mount, but this is cosmetic only.
According to information we found on the web, this item is for use with K-400 or other K-Series stereo microscope heads. It may be compatible with other heads, however we are not sure. The dimensions are as follows: The area where a microscope head is attached is 2.25" (57-58mm) diameter, the threaded area where an auxiliary objective can be attached is 1.9" (48mm) diameter. The top knuckle part that can be attached to a boom stand is .625" (16mm) in diameter. The objective settings are: 6.4, 10, 16, 25, and 40.
