Here is what I know about this plastic welder.
I purchased with the idea of using it to repair plastic bodywork on motorcycles. Well, as I researched this equipment, I soon discovered I was way in over my head with this item. I know, I know...research before you purchase(next time). I made one repair to the press. The top air pressure gauge glass was cracked, so it was replaced, and on the power supply, the power cord end was bad. It was also replaced. I then plugged it in and everything seemed to be working, but not sure of what was to be done from that point on. That's where I stopped. The system seems to be well taken care of in the past. There are no signs of abuse or broken wiring or switches, and everything is tight and clean. Oh yes, one of the air control knobs needs some work. This part is easy to locate at any compressor sales and repair shop.
