How does it work? The PAINT CAN CADDY handle simply slips inside any rung on your ladder. Your paint can handle attachment knobs on the side of every paint can, sit in the notches in the PAINT CAN CADDY. The paint can can swing in two different directions and will keep itself upright and level so that it doesn't spill.
What is the PAINT CAN CADDY made of? This item is injection molded with a very durable polycarbonite plastic resin. The PAINT CAN CADDY will last forever. If you don't loose it, you will always have it. We offer a lifetime replacement warranty on this item.
Will it hold a full can of paint? The PAINT CAN CADDY can easily hold a full can of paint. The CADDY is designed to flex slightly so it actually grips the can slightly, which helps hold it securely.
How does the PAINT CAN CADDY make painting easier? By using the CADDY you can push the handle of your can completely to one side or the other. This gets the handle out of your way and allows you to dunk the brush straight in and out. The positioning of the can on the outside edge of your ladder is also great for easy and quick access.
What is it that holds the PAINT CAN CADDY in the ladder rung? The weight that pushes down on the U shaped part when a can is inserted, applies pressure to the side of the shaft that slides into the hollow rung. This pressure keeps the unit from sliding in or out. We also include a reversable zip lock that can be used to secure the CADDY in place if you desire to use it.
How can I be sure the PAINT CAN CADDY will fit my ladder? The CADDY fits on all modern aluminum, fiberglass and composite ladders sold today. If your ladder has hollow rungs, then the CADDY will fit. On some ladder models with very large hollow rungs, it may be necessary to add a little duct tape around the shaft before inserting it into the rung. The tape will help take the play out of the oversized hollow rung hole. The CADDY is not designed to work with a step ladder.
