Risograph RC 6300 High-Speed Digital Duplicator
The Risograph is a modern version of the old mimeograph machines. It uses a film and cuts a "master" of the item that is scanned. It has the ability to hold the item on the film until a new item is scanned into it, at which time the old master is discarded and a new master is cut. Because there is an actual master cut for the item, the copies run on this machine are very crisp.
This Risograph is as easy to use as a copier. The control panel shows you the features available and the current status of your Risograph with indicator lights, easy-to-read LCD displays, and includes a convenient "Machine Monitor" for troubleshooting.
* Print Speed and Density Control: any of five (5) print speeds and densities can be selected for optimum performance
* Confidential Features: an original can be printed and the master can be automatically discarded to prevent further, unauthorized printing
* Image and Text Processing Options: in addition to the standard processes for sharp line definition and accurate shading patterns, special fine-line enhancement and dot-screen processes are available. The binding of a bound document can also be erased or lightened.
* Color Printing Options: optional ink colors are available, simply changing the Print Cylinder (Drum)
* Zoom Enlargement and Reduction Capabilities: prints can be reduced or enlarged
* Two-Up Printing: originals can be printed side by side on a single sheet
* Options Included: Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and Digitizer editing board. With the Digiizer, you can divide an original into up to four areas and specify different editing features in each area. Features include: Erasing a specific area, Reversing black and white (negative/positive) in a specified area, Copying a specified area, or Designating an area for photo or line mode.
