Model A Specifications This model will produce movements in the X-Y-Z planes. Each slide has 1/2 inch travel. Dimensions of the mounting slide are 1-3/4 inches wide by 1-5/8 inches high. The mounting slide has four #6-32 tapped holes. There are four drilled and counterbored holes in the base. The micrometer heads are graduated with .001 inch divisions. Metric micrometer heads with .01 mm divisions are available. The castings are of dense iron, nickel plated and finished with light gray enamel. The vertical slide will carry 1 pound. One or two extra springs can be added and each spring will allow the unit to carry an additional pound.
