This item came from a failed bank's storage warehouse. We opened the unit up and tested it to verify that it is new, completely functional, includes all the accessories, and to see what UPRGADES are installed. It only has a page count of 283 because we tested it. We used a spare ink cartridge, so the included original ink cartridge is still sealed. Panini has numerous versions of the same scanner with each version being a license upgrade.
