* This unit is very sensitive and it can surely detect displacements of 1 m (40 inch) or less.
* A reasonable offset can be zeroed out and the sensitivity is adjustable, allowing for display of displacements in metric and Imperial units both.
This item is used and has been tested to be in good working condition. The unit is home built by some unknown person, but the components (exciter, decoder, display and power supply)are standard components. The offset and gain adjustments are 10-turn potentiometers with dials.
