Coherent dios gem-Q3000 q switched CO2 laser
We are offering a Coherent DIOS GEM-Q3000 Q Switched Co2 laser, complete with the controller and the laser rail.
This unit has been tested at our facility and it is functional. The laser output on this unit is over 20 watts. The photos shown here are typical of the DIOS GEM-Q3000 laser we're offering, but the one you receive may not be the exact one pictured here. We have gone through several of these units and as we get them up and running, we are planning to sell them.
The Coherent DEOS GEM-Q3000 laser is quite unique, in that it is a true Q Switched Co2 laser. It is an RF excited, sealed, waveguide laser that operates at 9.2 Microns, although a sticker on the unit suggests a range from 9.2 - 11.2 Microns. The controller operates on 208-240VAC at 15 amps max and it does require water cooling. We have been running these with a 1/3 HP pump from another laser we have, but the exact amount of water volume required is unknown. The pump we're using may be over-kill for the laser's needs, but it is what we had readily available. Here are the basic laser specifications;

We do not know the original selling price for this unit because it has been discontinued by Coherent, but our guess is that it sold to OEM's for around $45,000. The company we acquired these from sold the complete system (power supply and rail) for over $60,000 as an add-on to their equipment. The price we're offering here is less than 20% of the estimated new purchase price.
