The resonant frequency for these transducers is 4.1 KHz, but they can be used as high impedance earphones or even microphones. A wide variety of tones can be made by cavity designing. Performance may not be hi-fi but will be acceptable in many experimental uses. As a microphone, they are suitable as the pickup device for sound activated equipment. Make your own "Clapper".
