TRANE OR GE SAFETY TIMER FOR FURNACES CONVERTED TO BURN LP GAS. These timers were used on the Trane or GE model LU-F and LD-F spark ignition gas furnaces that used the White Rodgers spark ignition system in the 1980's. The timer was used to prevent a build up of gas if the pilot failed to light. It was not required on natural gas installations. It was part of a LP gas conversion kit. It is made by the White-Rodgers division of Emerson Electric. It's part # is TYPE F5002-21 CYCLING PILOT SAFETY TIMER. PRIMARY 24 VOLTS 60 HZ. It has 4 male push on type spade connections that are numbered 1 through 4. I am a semi retired HVAC contractor who is selling off his remaing inventory.
