These units are designed to run/ support servo hydraulic systems. Constructed on forklift friendly steel sleds that fit on 8ft wide flatbeds for easy transport, the units are technically mobile units but can easily be incorporated into permanent facility use. Equipped with "Soft Start" electronic motor controllers, the units are electronically protected so that they can be used in situations where power (facility or generator) is not sized to handle the extremely high inrush currents that would otherwise be encountered (this has saved us a lot in smaller generator rental costs).
The oil filtration and air breathing system are rigorously designed to prevent contamination that will damage or shorten the service life of servo hydraulic systems. High pressure output filtering at down to three microns and low pressure return filtering to the same level keeps the oil "polished" to the most rigorous cleanliness standards.
Each unit incorporates an integral oil/ water heat exchanger for cooling.
All units incorporate Oilgear's workhorse pump, the PVK-140, a solid performing variable displacement pump with a very fast response time. One major advantage of this variable displacement design is to almost eliminate the waste heat that would be generated by a fixed displacement design. This enables the user to reduce running/ cooling/ energy costs and extend the life of the oil and equipment.

Comments: HPU has very low usage/hours due to application film and commercial projects. Possible other applications marine and timber.
