This never-used, 23-channel Hy-Gain 9 transceiver Model 2679 has all the operator controls built into the one compact combination mic unit that mounts within easy reach on your vehicle's dashboard.
The larger transceiver can be mounted out of sight on the vehicle, including the trunk, on the firewall or under the back seat, as well as under the dash.
Operates from 12 volts DC either positive or negative ground.
As far as I can tell, the set is complete.
A quick-disconnect feature gives you the option of taking the mic-control with you or putting it out of sight when you leave your vehicle.
The transceiver is a completely solid-state unit, with a PLL synthesizer which provides immediate operation on all 23 channels without additional crystals or adjustment.
The radio has an automatic noise limiter for noise suppression.
All the original paperwork is intact, including the owner's manual.
