The Newport Model 420 Precision Linear Stage is an excellent value-oriented linear translation stage, offering smooth ball-bearing movement in an easily-machinable extruded aluminum body. Its low-profile and modular design allow its use in XY and XYZ assemblies. Both top and bottom surfaces are drilled and tapped with 1/4-20 holes arranged on one-inch centers.
This Spring-Loaded Stage it is an older Newport Stage, but it still has plenty of life left in it.
This stage has some rust on it and could use a little bit of a cleaning, but overall it still has lots of life left in it. The Micrometer still adjusts the stage.
