NRC 751 High Vacuum Ionization Gauge Control
For sale- an NRC Equipment Corporation Type 751 Ultra High Vacuum Ionization Gauge Control. I suspect this thing was originally in a small cabinet, but is offered as you see it. It powers up, and I was able to zero out the pressure gauge on the right using the Zero Adjust knob. When the Ion Start button is depressed it makes a sound like a solenoid or relay engaging. Beyond that it is untested and sold without warranty.
I count eight vacuum tubes in the thing, none of them look particularly exotic or I would be selling the tubes and scrapping the unit. Some of them light up a bit when the unit is on, nothing suspicious in the way of smells or sounds, but again, I can t test the whole controller and I certainly cannot test the individual tubes.
So lets call the whole thing vintage or it would have been solid state. I have priced it to reflect the age, and am just hoping that somebody can use it, I would hate to have to toss it. Please check out my other listings for more interesting lab, test, and optical equipment. Check back often!
