We are listing over a dozen Mitutoyo micrometers, the largest being 21-22 inch. This one is a Mitutoyo 11-12 inch micrometer.
Note that the black plastic is cracked. This has no bearing on the function of the mic.
Note that the cap of the spindle is missing. This means it has no ratchet action.
I m guessing you can get one from a Mitutoyo supplier or maybe you have one from an old bad micrometer to replace it.
A guy could order a brand new one today from MSC (page 1288 in my 09/10 edition) for $276. You can get this one for a lot less. Since our specialty is CNC equipment we ll go out at $90.00. That s about one third the price of a new one.
