Romex clamps 40 electrical clamp multi use conduit pipe
These are metal clamps that have many uses. They can be used to secure romex and other types of cable and wiring, air lines, water lines etc.
These are heavy duty clamps. Much stronger than plastic and they will not brittlize and crack like the plastic ones.
They are made from .035" steel for greater rigidity.
The width is 5/8 and the mounting holes are 3/16 dia. and spaced at 1.590 center to center. The inside dimensions as it sits if it were screwed in place are approx. 7/16" x 7/8"
Electricians call them service entrance clamps or service cable clamps.
Thomas & Betts offers them in their catalog (part # SE 900). They sell for 11 cents ea. in lots of 100. They are also made by Bridgeport Fittings, Stratford Conn. (part # 1882-SE) .13 cents ea.
