The Lanier Advocate V, LCR-5 courtroom recorder has many features, among them:
* Sequential - Allows continuous recording from one cassette to the other (up to 3 hours continuous recording @ 1/2 speed and up to 6 hours @ 1/4 speed).
* Dual - records on 2 cassettes simultaneously so that you have 2 copies.
* Duplicate - Make a duplicate of a recorded tape.
* Four Input Channels - 2 microphone jacks per channel.
* Simultaneous record and playback capability.
* Monitoring capability by headphone or speaker on unit to hear what is being recorded on tape, as the recording progresses.
* Search function allows operator to advance or rewind recorded tape to tape counter position selected by operator.
* Audio level indicators for all four channels to see that microphones are working.
* Remote Display capability to view cassette and counter position at location away from the recording unit.
Unit can also be used as a transcriber unit after recording.
