International IEC 227 Microplate Centrifuge Rotor
For sale- an International IEC Model 227 Centrifuge Rotor. This is a linear rack microplate horizontal/swing-out rotor with trays. Each of the two trays has three pairs of holders, with 84 spaces per side. I have no idea what fits into these stubby little trays. Overall tray length is 12 , width is 6 . Height is maybe an inch or so, I didn t measure it. I believe I saw the max speed listed as 3100RPM.
The rotor looks like it is in excellent condition, but what you see is what you get. I searched the internet and found these listed from $1000 to $1500, and most of those didn t have the trays or if they did didn t have the inserts/holders. So I am not going to give this away. On the other hand I have no idea which IEC centrifuges it might work with. I did see the Model K mentioned one place. This was sitting on top of a PR-6000 refrigerated floor standing centrifuge that I bought, but that is no guarantee that it fits the thing.
