This is an older floor model centrifuge but it is in excellent tested working condition and I guarantee it will not be DOA. Fully functional and built to last forever! If you are looking for a large dependable centrifuge and dont want to spend a lot of money then this is the deal for you.
Comes with the large Model UV Centrifuge, Model 240 eight place rotor, 8 (8 place) tube carriers, lubrication tube and owners manuals. Will accommodate up to 64 tubes. There are a lot of rotor configurations that will work with this centrifuge and the manual lists them with part numbers. There is plenty of storage inside for extra rotors and parts. The inside drum is stainless steel.
It has a variable speed adjustment, timed run, rpm meter and electronic brake. Max speed with the rotor and carriers is 2500 rpm. Without the carriers the top speed is 3500 rpm. There is a safety switch on the lid that shuts the motor down when the lid is opened. The electronic brake will stop the spin in about 10 seconds.

This centrifuge is an older model and it is built to last forever. It works as good now as it ever did. It does have overall sign of normal use but isn t damaged anywhere. Starts fast and runs strong. The variable speed control is working properly. The timer is working and the brake is working. The safety switch in the lid is working. The rotor is good. I let this machine run a bunch and it works perfect. I also lubricated the top bearing with the included lube. (see pic)
