Interesting .... and then use for parts.
The top slide switch is for power, with LED indicator. The lower 3-position switch selects a pot. The bottom two pots are mounted on an insulated metal plate below the clear plastic deck and have knobs which rotate (middle) and slide (bottom) to move (and hold) the meter position. These strips, especially the straight ones might be fun to play with in some sort of electronic music device.

The assembly lifts out easily if you want to reuse the box. It used to be secured with four small adhesive tape squares, but not any more. The longer (lower) linear pot measured 11K . I don't have schematic of the circuit so I don't know the values of the other pots.
My 4 year old grandaughter was fascinated on a near daily basis for two weeks with the one I gave her until she forgot to turn it off and ran down the batteries.
We've got a bunch of these. Makes a fascinating child's toy. Maybe you have some other ideas. Salvaging the rugged case, meter and the other parts may be the order of the day. The (3) flexible pots are glued but I was able to remove the long one on my personal unit with a hair dryer and careful peeling.
