These instrument cases use 2-piece tongue and groove construction. Molded in flame retardant ABS plastic with matte textured finish, front and rear panels are brushed aluminum. Horizontal and vertical PC board mounts provided. Integral brass bushings and self adhesive rubber feet included.
The ABS 1598 series from Hammond Plastic Enclosures is a mountable, desktop PCB enclosure molded from ABS plastic with a UL flammability rating of 94V-0 and meets IP54 standards. The Hammond ABS 1598 enclosure features brushed aluminum end panels, two sets of molded-in PC board guides and screws/brass bushings to secure the halves, which makes them perfect for applications with repetitive assembly and disassembly.
