The 9E423-36 is a 36-port switching module. Three RJ-21 Telcoconnectors support 36 10BASE-T ports with a port connecting to the Internal Network Bus (INB) backplane interface. This module uses a SmartSwitch ASICdesign and an advanced Intel i960 microprocessor. This microprocessor provides a platform for all management functions within a scalable RISC-Based architecture.
