This item is a Gel Tray for a High-Throughput Horizontal Gel System that are sold by Cole Parmer and CBS Scientific. Gel Trays give you the flexibility of pouring gels in the unit using the tapered baffles or pouring gels outside of the unit by taping the ends of the tray. Trays are UV-transparent acrylic. Multiple comb slots let you cast gels for simultaneous short runs. This tray features 8 comb slots and a 2.5 cm/slot pathlength. These casters have number 3 liter buffer requirement, a 26 x 26 cm gel size, and measures 18-7/8" x 11" x 4". For the rapid screening of samples loaded directly from microcell plates.
