KAISER ZIP-RIB ROOF SEAMING ZIPPER CLOSURE TOOL
This is the Kaiser Zip-Rib Roof Seaming Zipper Closure Tool in Good condition.
This Zip-Rib Enclosure Zipper and Unzipper Tool operates on 120V for closing the hook rib over the bulb rib of panels, for opening the seams of previously installed Zip-Rib panels. This tool maybe used manually or pulled by the zipper tool when connected to it by means of a hitch.
This tool with standard rolls is engineered for all available gauges of Zip-Rib. Shafts are mounted in prelubricatedball bearings that need no maintenance unless the machine has been submerged or filled with dirt.External guide bearings and tie rods should be kept lubricated with light machine oil.
Rolls & Guides: 3" dia. Front and rear rolls in right position and right side up; guide bearing freeturning and in alignment.
Machine equipped with 1-1/2"diameter plastic wheels are designed to ride inthe flats of either 12" or 16" Zip-Rib. Machinesequipped with 1" diameter steel bearings rideon the pencil ribs of 12" Zip-Rib and should notbe used on 16" panels.
Machine fitted with a Black & Decker Heavy Duty Drill Motor:
