1870S lot of reclaimed lumber 7/4 x 12 x 18' rough sawn
I am selling these items for an older gentleman friend who is not familiar with computers. I am providing the best description possible from observing the items and having him tell me about it. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me and I will get the answer for you.
The boards are 7/4 to 8/8 thick, full 12 inches wide, rough sawn. They were originally second floor, floor joists in a commercial building.
These boards would make great decorative pieces or could be planed down for a fresher appearance. Laid flat and sanded they would make great floor planks. Could be great floor joists again! It would be great stock for a cabinet maker or craftsman.
Owner needs to get a minimum of $1.30 BF, thus 7/4 X 18 = 31.5 BF per board, X 44 = 1306 BF. Thus the $1697 starting price. Not interested in piecing out boards at this time.
